    My favorite civ is actually the Iroquis, but for practicality (the side I use most in actual rated games), Id have to say the British. I tend to only really use the Iroquis in comp stomp games, much like the Portuguese or Germans.

    There is nothing I enjoy more then ramming down an opponents town though. That has to be the best thing in the game.

    I'd have to say Dutch and Sioux. But if I had to pick one, I would go with the Dutch. They can build banks and they still have artillery. The Sioux have neither of those, sadly.

    sorry this isnt realy about this, but what is the down side with ports, and the down side with brits? [Edited on 3/7/2007]

    the only really amazing thing i've seen of russia is the annoying fort hopping, oprichnik spam and late game economy either than that ..

    my favorite civ used to be dutch, but since their late game kinda sucks now i'd say the french.

    dutch(currently getting boring, played them so much)

    Fav: Aztec -_- after u go indu and upgrade man they so sexy, their units are so colorful and eye popping,lol they look cool, fun style of play, easy boom(like french) they just rox as far as fun goes:D
