    Dutch.  They have the best counter units in the game (ruyters, skirmishers, culiverins, and habliers).  Also when you get four or five banks going you have the ability to obtain mercenaries in large quantities to put the finishing touches on their already great military.  They can boom better than anyone and are pretty good at turtling too.

    The dutch : they can produce gold without assigning villagers . I make many skirmishers wich are good against most units if made in numbers .

    Fist of all russains suck they have all the weekest units, the best are the french, couers  gather fast they have the strongest Cavalry and Skirmis that can be trained at the second age SKIRMIS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Lightning

    My good man.With the Russians, quantity is FAR better than quality. It truly reflects the way wars were fought in Russia.I do, however, agree with the French superiority.

    So your saying something like a quality nuke is better than 1,000,000 soldiers?

    Russians are the best. Dont listen to noobs who think they suck because of their weaker units. They have OPrichniks and instant inf and cav (with lakota lore) and they have a fast eco.

    Russians and french are probably the most powerful late game civs, Russians because of Sevastapol/fort hopping, French because of gendarmes and killer eco.

    Dutch and Souix are probably the most powerful in early/mid game.

     


    My personal favorite civ is dutch, since the UP vanilla days, but french and germans are close behind.
