i don't know because i would like to say the portugees because they have a super great eco schips and inf. but they can be easily beaten by some good cav even if you have the dragoon if you battle a french it has no sense.

Maybe french but because they high pop for there cav even it is the best the eco is good no the best but good but if i play with them i am quickily bored they are just to superior and too weak against the spanish.

Also i could say Spanish because i have discoverd how to finish a 40 min treaty with army that is soo big that you cry and ask for mercy it is HUGE but and spanish are good in the rush +- but  against ottoman they have no chance too good artillery and the cav archer will beat them the crap out.

And finally the dutch great eco 'great' army but their church improvement make their army weaker and i resisted and won against dutch with just 400 cassadores and he used too fight me and enter my base with 1100 men soo no them either i will vote.

1.French

2.Portugees

3.Dutch

4.Spanish

5.British

Portuguese. Although the Civs are supposed to be equal, the portuguese have been Under-Played, so they provide the best surprises for players. Like not knowing how to counter and stuff. They also fit my style the best. Constant settler production Rocks in 3 TC's.
