    Subject: Missing file DefaultUser.xml
    While trying to fix a problem with the Shader Quality video option I deleted the DefaultUser.xml file and now, just after the splash screen, I'm getting a "Initialization Failed" message. Can anyone send me this file?

    I can tell you that the file you should be editing is \My Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\Users\NewProfile.xml .  You should not edit any files located in the game's installation folder.

    As for the defaultuser.xml file, I cannot send one to you but reinstalling the game should re-create it.
