    whats a good score to get the japs on water maps in the end of 40 minutes?

    well im not too sure, probs higher than land but japs ships suck compared to euro, so on water maps, im really hesitant to use asians.

    Japan has a great water boom. You could probably get to 2000-2200 at least by the end of treaty, much I'm not sure exactly how high since I rarely play on water maps.

    yup. and most ppl who do do it because they wanna block, or they use otto (op water boom), and most dont even play with warships. which to me without ships water is pointless. with ships games do not last very long usually, and without ships the game will last a lot longer than a land map game cause of the extra resources.

    but if u r gonna play with japs on a water map, u probably dont want to play with ships cause a couple monitor shots and there goes your precious wonders. lol

    I agree most people play land maps now.

    I'm a bit haze with water maps because when i make ships i know that my ally might not make ships and they enemy might out produce use that is why i play land maps moe often.

    yeah I played a jap player on water he didn't have any shogun cards... he hosted the game to be treaty 40... I outfished him and blocked him early on... he then freeze hacked so i couldn't see what he was planning on doing... I'd think maybe a hatamoto rush but hard to tell... I just don't understand why someone would plan on not using diamyos.
