the second card looks decent and tigerdirect is a respectible company, however it looks like its gunna be pretty noisy if that matters to you at all

Will the card work on my DDR machine? since the card is DDR2?  

I am looking for a compatable video card for my machine. its an older module that has only PCI slots, no AGP or PCI-E.

I have been checking out differnt forums and it appeats that a Radeon x1150 is the best I can get for a PCI machine for a decent price.

Will this card work?

even though the cards don't look that good, they can still be able to run age of empires 3.

the best part is that they are very cheap. I recommend getting a Radeon x1300 card, it's better than the x1150. But even if u get x1150 you should still be able to run the game. You can ask EX_PWN if you need help on deciding.

No don't buy that card.

Buy the Geforce 6200.

the x1150 is better than the 6200, but both will run the game.

i've already used an 6200TC as an temporary card, it can run AOE3 without shadows, but with averything else on max as long as the rest of the comp isn't so old, BTW, what is the rest of the comp?

yeah are u like #!@$#$#@! cause u know that i have a thinkpad that has x1300 that sucks man. pls dont be kidding atleast 256 mb lol!! my game cant even start. i have lenovo thinkpad t60 go check it out!! lol again   

the radeon 1150 is not a PCI graphics card

its an integrated graphics chipset used on some laptops

modern PCI cards available in order of performance (low-high)

geforce 5200

geforce 5500

geforce 6200

radeon x1300

radeon x1550

none of those cards will play new games but will play aoe3 fine on low settings. the 6200 and both the radeon cards are hard to find and way overpriced if you manage to find them.

It's not worth spending a lot as A PC with only PCI slots has to be pretty old and will probably needs a full replacement anyway.

If you just want to be able to play aoe3 id reccomend find a geforce 52/5500 somewhere for cheap
