    Subject: AOM Online Problem

    Hello

    I have bought AOM some time ago . Yesterday I got internet access and I wanted to play this wonderful game. It didnt work. Now I have read that my AOM is from Ubisoft and that in this case online doesnt work. Where I can tell support for a new key? under "contact us" or where. or someone other could send me the working key?

    Its in german but it means something like "your CD key cannot  be validated. Wait a few minutes"

    I have waited hours and tried dozens of times.

    Do I have to call Ubisoft support for a new key?

    This forum is not for AOM. Doesn't mean noone here can help him.... but this is the AOE forum.

    Think of it this way.... If there was a monkey forum and someone had a question about a chimpanzee just because they have a question about a VERY similar thing doesn't make the monkey forum also a chimpanzee forum.

    Hi! I have the same problem. I bought the age of mythology NEW original from the store and when I go to login in online game it says that the cd key is validated.... What to do???

    Sadly ubisoft has to be one of the most retarded game companies IMO. Why? Because everyone has the same CD key. So if someone is already logged in or registered under that key, you can't play.

     You have to personally call a real Age of Mythology tech support and demand a new CD key.

     I wasted $14 on a new game because I lost my first CD on the original. I bought the new one and it didn't work online. I even updated it patched it etc. So I tried to enter in my old CD key and it said that the CD key didn't match the CD in the drive and that I needed the Correct CD in the Drive.

    I tried to get a refund but all sales were final. I was ripped.

    I do believe this also happens with the newer copies of AOE and AOE II. I just bought the new AOE because I gave the original back to my uncle (i've had it how many years?) and it won't work online. Though I didn't try to see if it worked online with the original. I do LAN parties with it for now though.

    Free Clan Site Hosting (forum too) - All you have to do is post 6 times on the site and then request.

    he is asking for help in the correct forum, the age community site is for age of "......"   not just age of empires 3 if you look at the top it says this is the legacy age games forum learn to read before you flame someone next time&
