    Subject: Dutch Rush
    I was fiddling around with the Dutch civilization and I don't really play no rules (supremacy) games much. (I usually play Dm) I was wondering if 10 Hussars and 13 pikemen are a good rushing force at 8:00 min take or give a few.

    Guess the civ:

    This civ doesn't need houses. Still, putting soldiers near their houses make the soldiers better.

    well, its something to that extent. I get the 3 hussars and 8 pikes shipment. Then I also spawn some hussars and pikes.

    Yes Redemption without a Cause is right in this case. 8 minutes is quite a slow rush. I sometimes play rush with the ottomans and can usually get 5-15 janissaries in like 6:30 so with pikes and hussars can't really counter that very effectively. This is how janissaries are set to hand mode. Abus guns (if I have them which I will by 8 minutes) are surrounded by janissaries. Abus guns aim at pike men and hussars can't touch abus guns because of janissaries!

    This wouldn't work agaisnt civs like Otto, Russia, China, India, French.

    Although, this could work on a FF. British, Port, Dutch, and Spain could easily fall as a victim against this strat.

    rushin wit dutch works but ur eco really sux or its a really late rush cuz ik i take like 8 mins to set up my eco for a good army... and ik tht most good russian players have round 50 strelets and 10 cossacks in 7 mins and r harassin ur villies or attackin ur town...

    well by that time u should have more units but the combination is good. anti-light-inf and ant-cav (and building) is always good un rush. but to have a force of 23 units...not really awesome

    The Dutch have to be the worst rushing civ because you have to pay gold for villagers and food to advance.  This is why that is such a late rushing force.See more and tips for noobs on machinebob's Rushing, Strategies and Hints For  Noobs

    no thats not good at all lol

    and to the guy who said dutch arent good at rush

    they are actually VERY strong at rush 

    they should ALWAYS be first to age just make all the villies your original crates allow you too

    age up first pump villies make sure barracks up as soon as you age and jsut keep pumping skirms you should have at least 8 + shipment by otehrs age they are very stong and by this time you can keep constant flow of 5 and as soon as you get 200 wood afor 2nd barrakcs you can make constant 6 or 8 and demolish what ppl throw at you unless its horse then you switch to musk
