Greetings to all those that care,

 I guess I'll start off by explaining the situation of the crash. Basically, like some people said I would start off playing fine for 5 minutes and the suddenly, the computer would crash (with all of the symptoms of a normal crash i.e. black screen, then a BSOD). The strange thing is that this is quite consistent in the crashing and the 5 minutes timeframe. Maybe something that turns on during single player version in 5 - 10 minutes of the game has something to do with the crashing. I'm no expert though.

 Anyways, again, like most people I'll give my hardward specifications, and driver and bios versions (which if you have all been updated). Here they are:

 1. BFG (yes I've contacted them too) nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX OC bought 11/2007 with a nVidia Forceware driver version of 7.15.0011.7519.

2. No PCI Sound Card, Just the onboard sort with a description of HD Audio Device  and a driver version of 6.00.5840.16387.

3. Intel DG33FB mainboard running Intel G33 Chipset with a BIOS version of 0437.

And I don't know if this information is required but I'll give it anyways:

4.  Four GB DDR2 PC667 SDRAM

5.  Intel Core 2 Quad Processor with 2.4GHz speed

6. One hundred and fourty-six GB of free HDD space available (SATA btw)

7. Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium x64 O/S

Finally, I'll thank in advance anyone who can help me resolve this issue. This is the only game I have ever experience a BSOD crash yet so far with this new system of mine. Frankly its quite perturbing.

i don't know what is causing this, the only things i can think of are overheating or a overloaded PSU

check if it's getting too hot by using something like PCWizard. if you know how to do it, clean it

if the CPU is getting hotter than 70°C it's too hot, i'm not sure about a temp for the gfx card tho, but it think it's around 75/80°C

also, if you know, what's your PSU? because a computer like yours need a good amount of energy to keep running

Does it happens on other games too?

You may be right about that. I'll check the temperature.

As for the PSU its a 800W i believe and no I don't believe this crashing happens to other games. I play Gears of War, Crysis, Counter-Strike Source, Phantasy Star Online, so far this is the only one that does this.
