    WOOT! I finally found a solid strategy that beats the computer on expert level.

    I easily wiped out the expert Ottoman civ and then I destroyed expert Russians.

    I read this strat on an old post I had found.... If I can find it back I will post it here if anyone has interest in seeing it.

    Know what's weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change. But pretty soon, everything's different.

    I don't play online (only SP and LAN) and defeating 3 experts is seriously no problem.

     

    ES made one of the stupidest AI's I have ever seen in any RTS. I was able to win on hard (the best non-cheating AI) after less than 10 games, having never played an RTS before at the time.

    LOL I had posted on a thread before (which I was unable to find again) and a 2nd Lieutenant was asking about a strategy for beating expert comps because although he could beat online players he couldn't beat the EXPERT computer.

    And the expert computer definately plays better than a Sergeant does online.

    I hate SEAR so much, lol. I think I'm doing it wrong. I just can't get it to work very well at all, especially for the weakened economy.

    Ya I tryed it too like 2 weeks ago... It had such a pathetic economy involved.

    But also in the thread to which I referred the guy wanted a strat that was not a rush. Like where you try to beat the economy of the expert computer, sure you can outsmart it in rush but to out eco it is much harder.

    Ever see the AI in NR? They just mass units and wait for the treaty to end. But anyway I think you're being a bit hard on ES, after all, this game wasn't meant to be played in singleplayer.
    Mantlets first are wood heavy units, and die fast from ranged inf..
