After looking through the old beat the poster thread, it was all well and good until I found that certain units were very hard to beat, such as an FU Monitor with spies, or an FU Mansabdar Howdah (which is strong enough to counter a single counter unit). Generally, these dominated the last thread, so Ive decided to try that thread again with a new rule.

Each poster has 1600 resources of their choosing to spend on units to beat the next poster

This makes this fun game more balanced and tactical imo. Ill provide an example, as it might be a bit hard to follow.

To start, I could choose 2 Siege Eles, as they cost around that value.

Then, someone else could pick 13 Gurkhas, as they can counter these units and cost more or less the same resource cost.

Then someone could say 6 Spahi, and so on.

Edit: New Rule: No upgrades are allowed, as these would unbalance the game. If u want to muck around with upgrades, visit the other thread

Although per unit in shipment, the Spahi costs 200 food, it says they actually cost 270 food and the discount is for shipping them, so 6 spahis. But they still win anyways, just trying to make the process clearer.
