New patch? When?
Hi guys, First sorry for my english, i've just a question to make: Everywhere on forum we talk about Japan and India OP, Ports and Spain UP ... etc. Do you think a new patch will come out to balance this game again? When do you think it will come out? I hope that:
- Sepoy will be nerfed and Zamburak moved to age 3
- Ashigaru will be nerfed and Shrines reduce their gather rate.
- to Ports and Spain just a little boost
and finally the game can be pretty balanced ...
... in my humble opinion (clearly)

Yes i agree, surely nothing can be perfect but is evident that Japan and India are too strong at the moment (IMHO).
India:
- Sepoy are too strong compared to the european musks, more cost/efficent.
- In colonial you CAN'T produce Hussars, Uhlans etc because Zamburaks kill your cavs in a second and they are chep (60f/60g)
- Urumis
Japan:
- Ashigaru upgrade are crazy, especially with Daymos and Shogun.
- Shrines support your eco insanely
- All militar units are definitely too strong

Be patient... Just 3 months left Until Ensemble Releases the 1.02 TAD patch. I say this because it taken 7 months to ES to make the previous balance patch when It just affected 1 game (TAD) and not vanilla or TWC, and it didnt fixed any bug that the game had... Oh and something lol:

Sepoy dont need ANY change, its perfectly fine, and India already got a light cav in age 3, zamburak is supposed to be a light cav unit available in colonial, its the unit's uniqueness.
Ashigaru dont needs a nerf, just its incredible upgrade number needs it... LOL is that all?

It can, the unit its just fine, in cost effectivness, and there is no problem with it... Try comparing a jan and a sepoy, and you will see that the only thing that really needs a little nerf its the sepoy x3 bonus to cav.

A414A | Nederlandse Nemesis: Sepoys are fine, although imo the Agra Fort should come with 300 Food to start instead of 2 Sepoys, as that would wekaen the 10/10 rush slightly and encourage India players to be more versatile.
wow... just wow... That suggestion will make the rush even more OP, sure, you wont rush so fast, but you will rush with more units like 10 seconds later...

Unless they make a major *** up id say after this next patch the game will be pretty balanced.

TAD is balanced, basically. I wish you guys were around for AOE 1 and 2, they only patched those games once, and if anything was left that needed to be changed, oh well. I had to deal with OP Turks towers for 6 years. So, I laugh when people say that ES has abandoned AOE 3, they have made 20 patches to fix the game, unlike in AOE 2, the made 2 patches for AOK and 3 for AOC. And that was 2000, they never helped with AOE 2 ever again, in fact, fans of the game had to make 2 more patches just to get rid of cheaters and map hackers. So, I think ES is clearly a better company than they were even 4 years ago.

Well japan and india are OP but i must agree that ES have made A LOT of patches for the game and it would be even more stuffed up if they hadnt
