    Subject: Problem With expansions

I've had warchiefs and the original game for a while now. I recently bought the Asian Dynasties expansion. When I installed it and booted it up, I could access my home city from the Warchiefs, but there was no other content from the Warchiefs availabe ( save games, warchiefs campaign, progress from the original campaign available) It was as if I had the Asian dynasties installed but not the warchiefs, because I couldn't access any warchiefs specifc content. When I boot into warchiefs my asian dynasties content isn't there, and when I play the original, there is no data from either expansion. Is this supposed to happen, are asian dynasties and warchiefs supposed to be completely seperate?

    Thanks

no, they aren't supposed to be separated, if you have TWC and install TAD, using TAD, you'd be able to use TWC civs and maps, but i'm not sure about saved games

    1. I think Save Games aren't compatible, due to many changes to existing civilisations...

    2. Both Campaigns will appear - but your progress won't appear. That annoyed me too.

    3. Obviously TAD content won't load in TWC and Expansions wont load it Vanilla. That's due to different file names. (FYI: .aoe .aoex .aoey)

I'm not sure,  because I can't get civs from twc in tad, neither can I get the twc campaign, in fact when I'm in TAD, there is no evidence or indication that I have TWC.

Are you blonde or something? I just explained it all in my earlier post.

As for the civilisations: your existing "Skirmish" or "Single Player" civilisations should still be there. If they are not, try manually searching for the file, or simply select "Create a HomeCity" and create a new one. As for ESO your data will remain there.

Uninstall TAD, then TWC and finally Vanilla. Then re-install Vanilla and both expansions. If it doesn't work go to MS_Support.
