    Subject: My Japan Solution

i was watching the last samura and was thinking about japan on age of empires, i think they would be a good nation to divide,

A traditional japan - more focus on the samurai, ninjas and there archer units, horse back samurai should be introduced and more emphasis on tradtional ways of japanses warfare,

and the of course an imperial japan that could be more westernised with howitzers and keep there musketeers,

Let us knw what u think or any ideas that u think would be good, or if u think its *** say so

first of all, be certain that it will never happen. secondly, they could have done that with more civs then just japanese. think about the natives for example. what if they made native civs before the discovery and after. and think about chinese too. they could also have been divided into at least two civs, which they partly are. u have cards that switches "old" armies into newer ones, etc... dividing a civ into two would be too much of a job. it would have been an expansion, and they are not going to make another one, thats for sure.

    Guess the civ:

This civ doesn't need houses. Still, putting soldiers near their houses make the soldiers better.

What is this a solution to? and why is this in the treaty section? This seems more like general discussion but oh well, whatever.

You know, traditionally speaking, the musket was a fact-of-life (this is even acknowledged by such men as Miyamoto Musashi) in Japan. The emphasis on the sword in the 1600-1800s was more philosophical than practical, true wars between Samurai armies were non-existent during this period.

Speaking of which you Last Samurai Half wit... The actual battle between Saigo Takamori Rebellion and the Imperial Japanese forces were fought with muskets.

    Outdated Musket vs Modernized Musket.

Even Saigo Samurai forces fought with musket till they ran out of ammunitions. Only then did they charge the line with swords.
