HELP HELP....i am a new player and i want to get good wit india but to do that in need to know what units counter what and what each unit is catagorized as. also any booming tips would be helpful.

Not an expert on Asains but Ghurka counters heavy inf., sepoys counter horses, and the sowars or something thats the horses counter inf.

Hope this helped, Someone might know the horse name thats semi-lancers.

ghurkha>heavy inf

sepoy>cav

sowar>infantry

mahout lancer>light infantry

zambaruk>cav

howdah>cav

siege elephant>artillery/buildings (sucks against infantry)

rajput>cav (zambaruk/sepoy/howdah do better job)

heres the proper ones:

gurkha>raged cavalry, heavy infantry, weaker skirms e.g strelet

rajput>cavalry, buildings, light infantry

sowars>artillery, skirmishers

zamburak>heavy cavalry, artillery

howdah> cavalry, artillery, they do ok vs buildings.

sepoy>cavalry, weaker muskets, havy infantry/hand infantry, light infantry e.g rodelero, coyote runner

flail elephant>buildings

siege elephant:buildings artillery.

mahout:skirmisher, artilley, buildings.

Urumis counter ranged cav and heavy infantry, but are good against ranged infantry as well due to their high HP, attack, and .3 RR.

 And Rodelero aren't light infantry, they're heavy.

skirmishers are supposed to own your howdahs but howdahs can deal with quite a lot of damage....try mohut lancers against skirmishers.....trust me he will stop making skirmishers lol
 

Maybe 1vs1 howdahs will own skirms but cost effectively no way.
