Subject: Iroquois are they even worth it?
Ya people have been talking about iros lately and I used to play them alot but now it seems like its pointless playing with them against japan france or anything with good cav.Angry So im calling out any of the good iro players or any one who has experiance with playing them to tell me if im just wasting my time with them or can give me some good advice or tips on using them. And if they suck ill just go back to aztec.

im not a top iro player but ive played them awhile, i think that against japan a large number of aenna reinforced with kanya and the warchief beats japan, unless im missing something.  i alwasy build a fb against them too and keep pressure, use tomas to take down houses around the map...thats about it i guess, hope that helps its nothing real special tho

Iro FF is still powerful. Those Forest Prowlers are awesome Skirms, so use them as your advantage, and you should win the game with ease.

You may be able to prolong your life, but it's not like you can escape your inevitable death, is it?

ummm I guess I should of been more specific im talking about 30 to 40min treatys sorry guys I must have missed to metion that.  And Im not shure but (I think) the kanya horseman is the worst cav unit of any civ and to make things worse they cost 100food and 75 wood (I think)so I realy dont even bothe to waste that much wood.

Iro its a hard civs to play.

Maybe the worst civs in 1on1..

    You need use Iro´s advantages..

They got a nice eco, with cows, fur trade and 120 settlers. They have one of the best skimisher in the game. They have probely the games best cannons. Imo they have better cannons than the japans.

I will only use Iro in 1on1 in andes, cause you there can use the natvies as Anti cav. The iros horse train too slow.

They can be pretty usefull in team games as long you and your mate micro together. You go for ski and your cannons and let your mate take care of anticav. That can be pretty deadly.

Rememer your warchift boost your units hp when they are near him!

So Iro hard to play, but they are OK if your play them right.

They only have wood and anti cav problems, the light cannons are OP.

Nahh Iro´s biggest problem its the train time on units. Musket Rider its fine as anti cav they just train to slow.

the  training time is just a problem more and the cost of musket rider is really bad for the work they do

the iro city take too place to use cow you can t do all wall you want to protect

before patch a lot of skirm do a good work vs cav but after you can just use iros on andes

or do a boring nr50 60 oricono behind your wall

I have been thinking about Iro too and yes their artillery is strong but also something handy they have a card allowing their warhut units to build more warhuts, foundries, and stables. Plus the Forest Prowler is stealthy so you could stealth your way up beside the base and them not even know then build base. That seems kinda helpful. But yes i noticed the anti-cav problems

yyyyyyyyyyyy: organ guns are best against asian civs cause of their area damage their the best counter ive found for asian artillary like flaming arows or those piece of sht hand mortars(china)
(lol thats the finest strategy i have ever found.)

Natives have their advantages in early games. Why on Earth would you want to use them for treaty? Only native civ I know that are good for treaty are Aztec. Sioux can be used too but it could be hard, I don't know. But, why, for treaty?

its true though. aztecs are the best natives on 30+ treaties, and even they are not that good. it depends. but that strat with forest prowlers going stealthy and constructing military base was smart. never though about that. but still, they run out of wood and that damages their army too much imo

    Guess the civ:

This civ doesn't need houses. Still, putting soldiers near their houses make the soldiers better.
