    Subject: Recklessly placed manors

When I play as Brits I tend to build my manor houses in incrediably dangerous places, along the perimeter of my base, in the middle of chokepoints and sometimes in the middle of the map. Why? It's because that mid-game, if the enemy destroys those manors it will help my boom. And when they attack my manors, I know their troop movements and what units they have. It also gives me line of sight on the map, preventing raids.

Am I being wise or foolhardy? Is building my manors on the frontlines good or bad?

Know what's weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change. But pretty soon, everything's different.

LOS = always awesome. Good job. When I play as Sioux, I love the 3 tp cards on Great Plains - One goes to your TP, the other TP, and a native in the middle of the map. People love to destroy the native ones. Gives you an idea of where they are, where they're going, what they have, and stalls them so you can get to fort faster.

Interesting idea... but surely there is a better building to use than Houses?

You could use Tepees, but that limits you to the Sioux. Maybe Livestock Pens would be less risky?

Yumi's are great against cavalry and suck against infantry, especially when the jans don't use melee.
