    What counters skirmashers with the russians. I think strelets but not sure.

    Cossacks, and falconets, strelets are supposed to be Russian skirmishers, so they dont really counter em.

    Both units are good too, but oprichniks cant really be good in an army, they are juts good raiding, (destroying buildings and killing villagers) Cossacks are just like hussars, just that they cost 1 population.

    Each cav has it's uses, horse archers die to skirmishers, and OPrichniks are good for raiding but are bad against military (exept artillery).

    As ivan said strelets are the skirms of russians, just a cheap miniskirm

    I had a strelet fight a skirmisher in the map editor, and the skirmisher beat the strelet with HALF OF HIS HP LEFT

    2 strelets = 1 skirm

    that isnt really retarded, since, skirmsihers cost 115 resources, a strelet costs 37.5...

    So actually, in cost 3 strelets = 1 skirm, but in stats 2 strelets = 1 skirm so strelets are very cost effective and powerful, and that is more than necessary to take the f
