    When I had the game I played the spanish.

    First game online was with Germans. Not much after, I played dutch.

    Actually I'm into spanish. 14 games played, 12 wins. I play nilla, so they aren't so much nerfed.

    I can't believe noone mentioned them. Aren't they like one of the easiest civs to play with ?

    You nut, they're one of the hardest. I rank them with China, Ports, and perhaps France (haven't given frenchies a whirl for some time).

    THEN WHY ARE THEY SO EASY FOR ME ?!?!??!?!?!??!?!

    Vanilla: Ottoman (The Next Best thing, that wasn't a Colonial Christian Nation. :D )
    War Chief: Iroquois (Solid Snake Inspired me to choose them *MGS 2 sons of liberty*)
    Asian Dynasty: Chinese (The Next closest thing to my ethnic.)

    2-4 times with japan then i changed to french cuz japan is hard to play now i dont have french town cuz its not fun just spam genda´rmes to enemy -_-

    My first civ was Babylonia back on the AOE1 days.  Stick out tongue

    My first civ for AOE3 was British.  (Which I never use anymore but was a great civ to start at)

    My first online civ was Dutch.

    First with the vanilla version of AOE3 was Ottomans - as something different from everyone else.

     First online was Brits.

    I had to give my ancestors props and use Portugal. I got my HC up to level 20 before I tried any other civ. I know they're not everyone's favorite, but I assembled a decent card deck that helps boost the weak spots in their economy, then I do a few key military upgrades in game to help them out. It took a lot of practice, but I'm pretty solid with them now.
