    Hi, which would you consider are the Top Civs right now? And why?

    Japan - If rushed really well can't be stopped.

    India - The Agra fort and a good rush is hard to stop if the rush is done well.

    British - Long Bow/ Pike late to mid time rush is good, especially with a booming eco behind it.

    Germany - A good rushing civilization with 9 xbow plus 2 Uhlan card. Can rush really well with infantry and cavalry.

    They are some of my favourite civilizations to use in non treaty games. If used correctly they can all be quite deadly.

    1. Japan: Good rush + excellent boom, lategame mobile military production (daimyos + shogun), LG 125 military pop, unradable and solid economy.

    2. India: Heavy age 2 counter system, good eco, good lategame

    3. German: Early game very flexible, huge civilian shipments.

    4. British: Good rush followed by manor boom. GG at 10 mins.

    You both forgot about Aztecs.

    Their Macehaultins and Puma Spear men are cost effective and powerful. Not to mension they have a counter for skirmishers in the war hut

    Thanks everybody. Seems like a good consensus that Japan is first and India follows. I just wonder why in recent WCG matches Germans seems to always beat any other civ.

    not to sure about japan being # 1...any fast rush civ can own japan.  ive been up against alot of japan players and it always seems that japan does bad against a good russian rush.

    maybe its because all the Japan players you've fought have been noobs.
