Dissect My British Strat
I know that no one really cares about the British, but plz just try this strat and point out its flaws, keep in mind it is my lifes work.
Age 1: nothing to do except advance and send manor card. Should switch all vills to wood once click adv, adv with 200 gold and outpost politician. try to build as many manors (place them as scouts- well beyond hunts so villlagers can herd and run when see troops coming by house- or form into walls- wallls need be coordinated with rax or outpost so enemy has to march long distance to get to vills) so as possible and still have exactly 200 wood at age 2 for rax. Age with the outpost and 200 gold politician. Age 2: here it gets tricky. Btw make sure maintain nonstop vill production. Once hit age two send the 700 wood card, get up rax from 200 and once 700 wood come get up another and rest for manors. if playing aztec (macehaultins) Ottos (abus) dutch (skirmishers) or russian (stelets) than don’t have any gold miners and just mass lbs, maybe a few musks. (if fighting russians than you must build rax and stable and use longbow hussar army) The whole point of this strategy is to have a booming economy- that will soon support two full rax unit spawning. throughout the game you must maintain nonstop production in at least one rax but two barracks is the goal. you should be runnning on zero resources the whole game. After the 700 wood card send the 600 wood card, this is to be used for lbs in certain cases but if not than for manors. Remember this is a defensive strat so use micro to keep musks skirmishing but from reall losses since only way to best the strong rushers is to wait till your army is bigger. If they dont atk by 6:00 mins then you must!!!!! If this is the case they will probably be doing ff. and by now you will have both barracks spawning at full and you should be able to swarm with high seige musks. just never stop atking, kill all vills first, then houses, and even after he advances he should have no resources for light infantry or cannon. Even through the bleakest of times just keep the villagers gathering and barracks pumping, will have to be creative to keep vills from getting raided since they will have bigger early army. Don't resign till all villls are slaughtered and don't ever advance to age 3, should be running on zero resources to ensure a large army. Good luck.

Lol there was a person who used this strategy on me, It failed. btw i was playing the spanish. just a minimum amount of Skirms killed the musks. then Raid with Lancers. it was over.... I noticed he had musks coming and coming so i just put up a fort.. I dont think its a very strong strategy

Im no expert with brits, but 1st card send exotic hardwoods if your going to manor boom.
Mantlets first are wood heavy units, and die fast from ranged inf..

I read the strat, here's what I say (this goes for the posts above me as well): -Always send 3 vills. Always. The manor card can be helpful, but there's better. No exoctic hardwoods or econ theory lol. 3 vills! Your econ isn't big enough for the card to have real effect. ;)
-You say, dont ever go to Age3. Going to age3 is actually a good idea for brits, a very good one at that. Falc + Upgraded musk (you should see these guys in fort, they're sick) are a great combo, hard to beat.
-700 wood second card? Keep it that way. Manor placement you mentioned is a good idea too. ;p
-You say that if he doesn't attack till 6 minutes you should take the intiative. Wrong move imo, if he's not attacking you, sit back, relax and manor boom. Remember to mass. If the other player is FF'ing, DONT be in his base, that's a bad move, MM + ageup units will break your army (if he micro's right, which you should assume he does).
-Musk Hussar is a great colonial combo. ;p
Overall, keep practicing that, look up some recs because what I said is bound to have a flaw or 2 in it.

that's what everyone does, except good players go stable+rax in most cases, sometimes dual rax. i like sending 5 vills after 700w, i only send 600w if i need a quick LB mass. also, during transition to age2, build a market and research food and wood upgrades. oh and... 3 vills > manor card. EDIT: just read incog's post. OP incog. listen to him (: everything he said was true.

Exotic wood is a 20% bonus I think?! That means that is you have 10 vills on wood, you would have the equivalent of 12, and if uve got 15, ude have 18. Id rather send 3 vills.. alot faster.. And, pure manor boom gets owned everytime in sup.

every civ that has a 3 vill card should send it first, always, no exceptions, except maybe dutch (300w).
