hey guys i am new at age of empire 3 i am getting it tomorrow i was wondering can u play multiplayer on it. its my first strategy game it looks fun and interesting so ya maby someone can help me out in the game so. can someone give me tips how to play it.

welcoem to agecommunity my friend. i cant give u tips right now but maybe when u do get the game go on multi player and whisper me and then i can give u tips. my name on multiplayer is the same as it is here, georgecusterd.(for whispering: once they are on ur friend list, right click their name and left click whisper.)

After you've gotten the game and installed it, go to the main menu, click "Multiplayer" and then "Ensemble Studios Online." You'll be prompted to download a patch. Do this and then make an account to play online. Be aware that you can only create one account per cd-key, so make an account make that you like, because it will be the only one you can have unless you buy another copy of the game. : )

and if you are interested in making your own scenarios (like the ones in the campaign) you can ask me for help, when you do get online download and try some of my maps :)

ok sounds like a plan i live in Canada so ill probably buy it at like 11:00am at ebgames age of empire 3 and can i ask u guys a question i am doing in history class about the civilions so maby this will help my history.

what u make your own maps too

I guess lots of people play this game online. The most i seen was about 3000...odd. Yes you can make maps theres a map editor but tis not as easy at AOE2 map editor, if you every played that game.


This game is great. You would probably like it. Dont forget to pick up the 2 expansions The Warchiefs (for native american civilizations and The Asian Dynasties for asian civilizations).

This game is not historically accurate so dont ltry to learn any history of this game.

wow thats alot of people how many are people playing like right now? age of empire looks interesting and fun u can build stuff right like houses and stuff.
