    [*-)] [*-)] Subject: Best Civ for teaming with Russian Rush
    Hey, Okay so me and my usual two allies usually make our ranks with a slightly modified MrMilo's Russian Rush. We usually do well until that one play comes along and knows how to counter it, and more and more of those players seem to be coming. What do you guys think the best civ and Strategy to help my allies when they're being Russia and being pwned? I need to know the beststrategy for this (I'm to lazy to come up with myself). Soo?[:^)]

    I think maybe India. The Agra Fort would be a great help to your FB and the Indian player could make mainly Sepoys while the Russian makes mainly strelets, that would make a great unit combo.

    My bad, I forgot that this was in vanilla section. Embarrassed

    Well perhaps an Ottoman ally would do well - same general idea, Janissaries for anti cavalry and siege; strelets for anti infantry, and mix in a few cossacks and abus guns for a great combo.

    Know what's weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change. But pretty soon, everything's different.

    Another russian, what beats 106 strelets and 10-18 cossacks at 6:30??? I would like to asume nothing.

    Ok that might work.... yeah my main fav civs are Russian, Ottoman, and french. Would you hav ideas with french?

    French could go pure Hussar early on, mixed with Strelets that would be great. An alternative could be French going musket/crossbow or pikeman/crossbow - both would supplement the Russian well.

    Musk/huss with French early on is the way to go in team games. Either works pretty well; they've got the eco to mass either at a fast rate without killing their resources (and thus, economy also).

    You could go Spain and use their anti-cav infantry to stop say an Uhlan rush.
