Subject: Striving the fog of war...

    hey people,

i watched match repalys recently and i'm seeing, mostly expert players, klick on different regions on the map at the very beginning of the game(after they sent their villies to their according crates, queeud one, explore with their explorers) as if they are trying to "see" something but they actually can't, of course.

Or do they do that to minimize the "lag" when they discover native TPs or such things? So that their comp initializes the map beforehand?

    i'm curious...

I've already seem that, most of the times they are shift+clicking to set a path to the explorer, this way they won't need to keep selecting the explorer every time.

If they were smarter they would click on the minimap instead.

yes goodspeed, they do, because the view changes abruptly therefore they are not scrolling, so they use the minimap.

at this point. thanks for your strats, Goodspeed, they helped me, and many other ppl too, out at the beginning ;)
