    Subject: Which civ has the best eco?
    I usually play with japan but I can only keep up with opponents' eco if im on a water map.  Which Civ. has the best economy?  Its time I move on from Japan.  Before I played Dutch but in treaty they arent that good either with their economy.

    Your probably looking at china, german or brit (if you know how to do it)
    India has a sweet eco
    Iro can hit the big scores also (again if you know how to do it)

    Of course depending on your allies then even port can do some good eco things (german + fur trade)
    But in all honesty Japans eco isnt bad anyway

    I like having a noob rank, It means I can go up against up-themselves master sergeants like savory beef and completly own them.

    British. livestock boom, manor boom, Estates, and the trade gold for wood card. if u can keep up with the livestock u can have like 15-20 vills on food and the rest on gold. last time i played them i had 100k total more than the German.  :O

    In treaty I think the germans have the best eco. You build all 99 settlers and 20 settler wagons then kill heaps off at the end of the treaty. If you are good enough you can get 60k+ food and gold by the end of the 40 minutes. (but that takes a bit of practice...)

    british. aztecs have a good eco. somehting really funny id like to add is, i was playing my friend whos quite a bit lower than me. at 15 mins my score was bout 100-200 higher than him. then suddenly he got almsot 200 points infront (a gain of round 400 points) i asked him what he did and he said heavy fortifications lol.

    India, Karni Mata with 9-10 paddies. :S better then any other villager based econ.
