ok, so this was from the The Portuguese Fast Fortress thread:

cards: AGEII: 700 gold

AGEIII: 1000 wood, 8 halb, <attack> 1000 gold, merc. card

Armies: 3 organ guns defended by the 8 halb,            *at 6:45-7 minutes

2 organ guns                                                   *at 7:30

3organ guns defended by 9  muskts(or merc).              *at <9 minutes

              *and when i say LESS THAN, mean it.

After getting beat twice with this strategy (Dutch FF-ers), i have devised a new strategy:

<<age with 500 food, 14 vill >> 700 gold, 8 xbow or whatever to defend<<age with 6 cassadores>> 5:15

Finish aging at 7:00 . 25 settlers on coin, make artillery Foundery start one training

send 1000 wood, Ronin, <finish Org. Gun production, you will have 69/70 population>  and then send 1000g.

... ok, so i did this mathmatically too, and as soon as you hit the 8:38 minute mark, you gathered all 4000 extra coin for the units. But when i played before, i find myself ageing with 18 settlers with none on food but getting there late(10 minutes for 10 organ guns). This works though. just needs 4 house(3 free TC's) a market to trade 200 gold for wood and get placer mines, and an artillery foundery.

let me get you a picture of my town. It is sooo cool. the 3 TC's are in a diagnal line, with houses and my market on either side, which i hide my Org. Guns behind. OMG, all units die to organ guns. Have 3 settlers on food before you age to Fortress so you can have 25 settler by the time u get there.

10 Organs? That's impossible in real, because you haven't calculated settlers walking time or your mines running short. Also you'll get raided, you'll maybe have to defend, you can get housed, etc.

About 5 Organs + 5 ronins towards 7:40 is possible, if you get an EXP trasure (700 Gold + 700 Wood, 1000 Coin + Ronins)

Yeah, its hard, but not impossible, because I did it at 8:00. Yes, it was like Fast microing everything, but this was done. Anyway, even if you dont believe me, go to age_comm downloads for the Fast industrial contest. This one guys Got to industrial at 7:23. cool huh?

btw, 4000 gold(3000 for Org. Guns and 1000 for ronin) minus 1000 is 3000g. ok? not that much

organ guns are way cheap too. but thanks for simply stating that it's impossible. very intelligent answer.

well, that'd be true if it was a herd. But mines dont move, so once the settlers pop out of the TC, they walk to the mine and stay there. You know mines dont move.

Atually, you are probly right. If i am raided, it might take off quite a lot of time. Good thing I wasn't.

but you do bring up some good points. Truely, i lied i guess. i can get 4000 gold 3 minutes after i click the polotician. But, in hindsight, the Ronin will take 20 seconds after the 8 minute mark, and there will be less. i formally appologize. Here is my the .Gunner Seal of Appology:

Done then. I "tested" this. It was a wee bit late, but it works.

I had done this even before this was posted. Guess you all think mathmatical means in one's head. sigh.

Yeah, thats true. I actually don't get rushed that fast from anyone. Maybe it's my major rank. Oh well, anyways, i ship the 8 xbow shipment right after I'm done with the age II shipments. Then i cancel it if im not attacked. 8 xbows +12 minute men+6 cassadores usually makes players retreat until they have some seige units to deal with the 3 Town centers i have shooting at them.

PS: i say 12 minute men because the 3rd TC isnt built yet, and i think 32 units is overkill for ANY enemy army consiting of 40 or so units. especially if im just skirmishing. Portugal's 3 TC's is 90 * 3 damage every fire. What is that, 9 outposts un-upgraded? (though it does suck because then you have to garrison your vills unitl the enemy retreats)

do you mean either 700 wood, OR 1000 wood... because ive been testing this out a bunch... and i cant seem to get 700 gold, then 700 wood, then 1000wood, then 1000 gold, then ronin, shipped in less than even 9 min.... thats 5 cards... i might be wrong tho.

 can u get all those shipped in 8:30?
