The french can win, they probably have a better eco, dopples will murder cuirassiers cost effectively, so will war wagons. I, personally would not rush, as the Germans have an amazing rush, and it is hard to beat them early game, try turtling against the German, an FF is likely to end bad if he rushes, so I would try turtling
Do you use the word "pretentious" in a pretentious manner? The belief of "pretentious" being pretentious might itself be pretentious, but that would than further go to prove that the word "pretentious" is pretentious.

Germans got the best anti cav in the game with dopps and WW's, you are not "good" when you get gendarmes, and he will probably rush you early before gendarmes come

get some cuirrs to kill the german's xbows/skirms but always have some skirms yourself, to kill any dople/WW that comes. that is... IF you reach the 3rd age

Germans > French, easy game.
France doesn't have an 8 pike shipment, so they're fucked.
Also, most Frenchies end up spamming xbow+musketeer, which will get eaten by a uhlan+xbow combo.

actually, theres this great new strat, just released, its gonna be nerfed soon. this is what you do. you build a barracks, and train pikeman from the barracks, you get pikeman without a shipment (its so OP)

most people will actually send 9 x-bow first, if he attacks with uhlan, just garrison in your TC, and his uhlan will quickly fall
