Ok, first of all every civ is European except for the Ottomans. Second, probably the only reason why they put the Ottomans in the game was because of the campaign. And third, why the hell are the people in the home city dressed like englishmen?! They should be wearing turbans, have long beards, baggy pants and those caps. Why couldn't ES wait to put into the Asian Dynasties?

Ottos didn't come to the new world, but just like Germans and Russians, they did have an important role in Europe during that time.

Just don't ask me why there are no maps in Europe.

first, theres no rule that says every civ on vanilla must be european. 

second, perhaps youre right. 

third, why bother with how the people are dressed in the home city? that must be the weakest complaint ive ever seen here.

and es didnt wait to put it into the asian dynasties because they didnt know they where going to make TAD at that point. es actually didnt want to make TAD to begin with, but microsoft or w/e wanted to make more money, so..

Russia did take part in the colonisation of the New World, they had what now is Alaska, and they had even gone pretty far south (Fort Ross in California - 50 miles north of San Francisco). And in the north, they went quite far inland as well. 

And Germany actually also had a few island colonies, and a few in south america and africa.

Queen Catherine the II of Russia, sold Alaska to America for like 50 cents (some where around that) an acre. That's the only reason Alaska is part of America, not Canada.

The British and French also colonized in North America too, thats why are national languages are English and French.

Jesus... first of all, its called USA, not america. canada is as much a part of america as usa is. the same goes for uruguay for that matter. and yes, its true, USA bought alaska EXTREMELY cheap from russia, something the russians still cry about to this date. ('cause of the gold, ofc). and there's no wonder that the russians made it far into alaska/canada, they can take the bitter coldness of the north better than anyone else (except for norwegians).

anyways, i think most people know that the british empire and the french took over most of north america, while spain and portugal colonized the south.. no need for child lessons...

And then what, pray tell, do you expect us to call our people? Statesmen? No, we're Americans and our country is called America because it rolls off the tongue a lot easier. I mean, in English, Mexico's official name would be "The United States of Mexico."

So what do they call themselves? Mexicans. What is the name of their country--at least in English--because it's so much more simple? Mexico.

rambling? whats that? talking bullshit? america is the CONTINENT, the whole shabam. north-america, latin-america and south america=america. its named after a friend of colombus, whom he sailed with when he "discovered" the continent (of course, the norwegian vikings, led by Erik the red, was truly the first ones to discover it.)

but ofc i understand that its easier to call yourself americans, since The United States of America is kinda fukked up. But Mexico is a united country, not a country consisting of united states, so it would make no sence calling it "the united states of mexico". and they call themselves mexicano's in their own language..

why not just call yourselves USAsians? or unitians? haha, statesmen..
