Top 10 players - an alternative post
Is it just me or are they somewhat arrogant morons? I whispered a few of the current top ten TAD players (look em up yourself) and none of them would respond, they just ignore me. Do they refuse to speak to any person whose PR < 35? Word up for Challe though, he took his time to give me some advice without being a total @ss.
G0D is a noob and probably french, so I hit him with a stick too.

Most of em get constant whispers from 'newbs' to get some advice.
If you were being harrassed by people all the time, wouldn't you eventually ignore them?
I believe they have more fun things to do.
Rule on Capitalism, who wants to share with the poor guys?

Haha I remember when I used to whisper top players, they never responded. Obviously I didn't take it personally though. I just logged onto AOE3 for the first time in a long time and I noticed iamgrunt hasn't been on since 2008. He was the #1 person I whispered to, did it ALL the time.

lol there's nothing wrong with asking some expert players about stuff. If I had their email addresses I would mail them but I don't so ha!

Ya have to keep in mind that they get a lot of that, Goodspeed has had that too, he said it was annoying. Some of them have privacy on, which means only people on their FL can whisper. That could be the case.
Challe is indeed cool however. ^^

_tank: Challe is very nice to everyone who isnt a total jerk :p but as posted, most experts have "privacy" on so they can only talk to people on their friends list... If you want them to talk to you, try on agesanctuary.

The top players are very help full most put recordings or videos of their games on one site or another. Some actively help through forums witch is great. I must admit when I have really got stuck I have whispered the odd high-ranking player. I started by thanking them for the recordings they have posted and also asked if they get chance to add one of the civ’s I am playing at the time that would be great. Sometimes if they are free they will help there and then.
It’s best not to ask stupid questions and keep it to one question so not to tie up all their time. Do not to go on about your own game. Why would they want to know you’re not their best friend?
