 Aloysius:Many players who have been using map hacks or Out of Sync tools may find themselves banned when they try to login now. We are vigiliant about OOS / Map Hacking and will continue to be banning people who use them online.
Dear Aloysius I recently had some issues with my cablemodem. They were actually doing some maintenance and after my cablemodem went down I checked its logfile. It received a 'maintenance broadcast' before going down. However, during a few hours before that maintenance, I kept on having OOS all the f'ing time. I think it is necessary to distinguish between deliberate OOS and accidental OOS, such as in my case. Obviously, OOS has something to do with modifying TCP packages. I don't know how it's done, and I don't want to know either. But I guess you guys are already aware of that and are working on a brandnew patch to fix it! Or maybe not. Anyhow, I think it would be unfair to suspect a cheater underneath each OOS. There are a lot of cases in which a user's modem goes crazy and loses some packages or w/e and then goes OOS. Do you have a certain guideline to tell deliberate OOS from accidental OOS? Do you have any means to figure out if it was deliberate or not?
Or is it just your feeling that tells you an OOS hacker is an OOS hacker? Please inform me, it will be very much appreciated.

My account is not banned, but recentally I was loosing a game and after my partner quit I stuck in there for a little longer to see how long I could fight them off, when suddentally we all got the oss message. They started to pm me and say that I was a cheater and that they would report me. Is there a way to distinguish between an intentional oss and a ligit oss. I think this crackdown is a good idea since I hate being cheated, but I don't want to be accused as being a cheater and then getting banned.

I've never maphacked, i've never OoS hacked, yet when i tried to sign onto eso this morning i found the error Message "Account Disabled [103]" The funny thing is, the real cheaters are still online like: Noce Godscreed So why the FIN hell am i banned?

So so true, noce is the biggest cheater. Not only does he cheat but he codes and releases hacks and makes any bugs he finds public. And now i've been banned, most likely because players accused me. You obviously have no proof that i maphacked or oos hacked on your side, it has had to have been on word of mouth and that's not right. I don't cheat, so unban me. - Reborn_demon , fintan1

A have been inactive for 8 months and just started playing 2 weeks ago
i have never used any hack, wtf is going arround , do you guys ban some people so they need to buy new accounts for extra money or something?

Yeah, yeah that is what they all say, if you have been a repeat offender dont try a lame story...
If your story is true and you can prove it then email RE or try to get a response from the GM....

You need to double check your system of determing if someone has done one of these cheats. Many of us have not done this ever but still our accounts have been banned. Anyone know who/where we can go to report admin abuse? microsoft games?
