    now note the title is Easiest nt OP or Best Eco nothing so paticular im on about the EASIEST civ one people get the hang of really quick AND can win games?

    Each civ has it's easy aspects and hard aspects. It's a matter of finding out which combination you like that fits your style and exploiting it. My favourite is the Germans, but I wouldn't start with them without taking a look at some strategies for them or asking around.

    Try many civs and decide on your own not everyone has the same favourite civ that the reason why not everyone uses the same civ (Many use japan but its a little op).

    I agree with savory. Ports have an easy boom to get with better than average military. Good way to learn how to use all units too.
    The many evil people do not outweigh the few good ones.

    any civ that trains all 99 settlers out of town centers seem easy to learn for me.

    but my favorite is German for sure.

    ports is by far the easiest.  the boom is childsplay and the units are pretty dam good. starting army is one of the best(with church card).  only booming wood needed is for market upgrades. town centers are free. mainly the reason why they are the easiest.

    Yeah but when I play ports I usually take massive map control and then spend the rest of the game just trying to defend my territory. Noobs should be careful where they put their free TCs

    It depends greatly on the player and what they want, I prefer french for realivly (sp?) low vill population and strong calvary units. plus, the eco boost they get from their Coureurs isn't that bad either. Especially with economic theory.
