Installing offline
As far as I know you should be connected to internet for installing Age of empires online. Is there any way to download the installation files and install them offline? My internet connection isn't stable and I have download limit.

Re: Installing offline
It takes too long to install it online. If installation files be downloadable I can download them by a download manager and then install it. In addition if I reinstall my windows I don't need to download it again.
I always hate online installers for this reason.

Re: Installing offline
well I understand what he's trying to do... he just wants to know if there's an offline installer to download since his connection ... and mine are not that good and have hiccups... what this does is that we always get stuck and have to start over. If there was an offline installer we could just link to it with a program such as download accelator plus or "downthemall" which will resume the download even if the line is bad. Also, if i want to install it in my desktop and notebook then I don't have to download it twice or 3 times or 4... you get it.. So if any of you guys know where the offline installer is, or how to trick the downloader to save it to a file via a download manager program, please do say so... i've tried to download the game 7 times already and always get stuck at a different percentage :( ... Thank you

Re: Installing offline
can we get a yes or no answer???? we don't have to explain every little detail, but if you must... I play League of legends, starcraft and all sorts of online games on this PC... and I've had no problems.. my ISP is great... and if they sometimes stall on the update they continue by themselves, so i guess that the downloader on the AOE online is crap and won't continue after it losses a link. So... is an offline installer available, yes or no, if yes please link (or tell me how to direct the link to another downloader), if no, then how can I remedy my problem. Thank you.

Re: Installing offline
My problem is in downloading patch. It's very huge and you can't play the game without it!
If an offline package be available I can download it by a download manager or on my friend PC and install it on my PC.

Re: Installing offline
The patch files should be manually downloadable. They are huge. Ryz0n:They need to be downloaded with the launcher. If you are unable to stay connected to the internet long enough to download the file, your experience in the game may not be optimal.
I play warcraft frozen online without any problem.

Re: Installing offline
Ryz0n:mmtrt - for your issue you can download the games for windows marketplace client manually and install the game via there. As for offline installer, the only installation methods for the game at this time are through the web installer, and through the games for windows marketplace. There is no redistributable installer.
Understand but now I am also having problems downloading with wllogin_32.msi manually as well as from gfwlive procedure. I manage to install first two components in gfwlive successfully but the third one is making same problems here. Third component full name was: Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant pic: was manually downloading it stuck on 3.10MB
pic: was downloading wllogin.msi from gfwlive procedure it stuck on 3.10MB
both are stuck on same download file size wllogin_32.msi manual download link was http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=15106 can someone provide me wllogin_32.msi in compressed format like zip or rar, all I ask.
