It was working REALLY well until we got into the school year :(

Once school started everyone was MIA and it took almost 50 days to finish off the last like... 4-5 games.

This is going to happen in any tournament filled entirely with school/college age kids who aren't progamers. Unless they just don't give a damn about school. This is even more true for a tournament that pretty much demands you dedicate at least two hours to a play out one game.

i think the biggest problem is/was the time-difference. you guys may play when i have to go to bed...

Even if Storm/Milky didn't tick me off, I would've dropped from the tournament by now because of school. I wouldn't be able to practice at all, nor would I want to dedicate my time on weekends to the game. The tournament dragged on straight into my college semester, which is way more important :\.

To be honest, given how friggin' dead the community is, I can't see another tournament being successful. Unless it would to be a 4 player tournament it's pretty unlikely you'd fill it up. Plus, BO1 is still really random and BO3 is super time consuming in TR, so to keep people honest you need a big enough prize for it to be worth committing too.

I really wanna do a 2v2 tourney since that would be a gamestyle most everyone is comfortable and GOOD at, but thats sooo unrealistic...

1v1 tourney was fun but most ppl suck at 1v1 really hard

and if I did another tourney it would have a prize of like $50 base with a $5 submission from each player so we would have a multi hundred cash prize + smurf accounts + pens from ryzon
