    My clanmates and I play weekly on GR and Hamachi.

     

    We do tournaments and such.  Its great b/c we have the numbers to actually host them.  You will get to meet other people in the clan :P

    I love AOE2 also. For being a relatively old 2D game the graphics are quite acceptable.

    Anyway, I used to love AOE 1 and still kind of do, but AOE 3 is the best.

    I liked building giant cities in AOE 1 and AOE2...you can't build on that scale in AOE3...

    I mean having tons and tons of towers and a bunch of barracks to train massive armies...and like fifteen castles everywhere...good times...good times...(of course that was only 4-5 years back) 

    And I just set them up....
    To knock them down!

    Age of Empires rocks!!!

    Yes, LOL, I loved the massive bases too. While I understand that in AOE3 there must be a build limit on towers or else the game will lag, I wish the limit was higher.

    I loved it that whenever I was losing I could just retreat into my starting town, put up row after tow after row of Bombard Towers and Castles and be almost unassailable. Lame, I know, but it is still hilarious to watch the poor fool attempting to fight you losing dozens of units to your towers until he finally gets frustrated and resigns.

    Good times indeed. Cool

    Well I likes massing castles and building them right next to the enemy bases and stuff. But trebuchets would pwn everything but yeah it was fun
    And I just set them up....

    a lot of people still play aoc. i've been playing it lately, played about 50 games. anyone else here who plays aoc online? maybe we can play some games i need someone to play with regularly:p other than samwise12 who plays so much i can't keep up

    I play AOE2AOC on Gamespy Arcade and Sometimes Voobly.

    Edit:Used to be pro but playing AOE3 s much throw my skills away but i started playing it lately again. 

    lieutenants are noobs they play nr55 -_-

    I still play the original Age of Empires set at 200 population. I do not play it online but I do miss online gameplay. The problem is that after The Zone stopped supporting it, alternate providers did not have enough people for online game play. Too few people and too much time to set up a game.

    Try GameRanger. Neverseperat referred me to it and there are always plenty of AOE1 games going.
