im talking about 2nd age rush, and russia isnt good cuz of the french villies getting put inside tc and out. I need a civ thats good in 2nd age.

spain handles france in rush nilla pretty well france isnt that powerfull against spain. good spain combo vs france is rodelero musk or rodelero xbow not pike dont use pike as main meatshield as i said rodelero they deal with cavalry and xbow even musk im most cases dont play defencive that will yust make him(frenchie) more powerful also dont head to kill the tc that isnt the key to winning against french HARRAS him away from herds so he starves mix hussar with ur troops mainly to deal with coreour when in field of battle and also to harras him dont let him corner you wich is very hard if the french knows how to really use them.. try to do most of this and ur game will be a gg. another thing try to out-age him and once u have a decent amount of troops take tp on trade route as this will help with ur opd shipments hope this helps if not yourwelcome anyway

This is more true than it seems. At low levels civ counters are rather obsolete, any civ can beat any at sgt level. Considering the thread posters question, we can assume that he is lower level.

So use any civ and just be better, make right choices, and don't be a retard.

Well obv saying use Dutch is stupid advice :-)

Spain Otto easily kill them but there are other civs that can do well. France is pretty balanced on nilla I think.

Im pretty sure France slightly beats Russia, Dutch, Germany, British (this one is pretty map dependant imo), dunno about ports (tho people call them UP), and they lose to Spain and Otto since those are OP.

So maybe they are one of the better civs on nilla, but they don't win their mu's very hard.
