    Subject: Sioux advantages and disadvantages

    Advantages:

    - the best cavalry in the game (combination of axe rider and rifle rider(maybe its wrong name) is OP)

    - very mobile army

    - good upgrades in big buttons

    - the teepee is awesome (very upgradable)

    Disadvantages:

    - the worst economy in the game

    - no walls (the main handicap in 1 v 1 battles)

    - poor infantry (I mean without teepee boost)

they have the siege dance which works great in combination with dog boxes or axe rider boxes. also they have the warchief to kill artillery and boost units. A disadvantage is no cannons.

    dcdonnie4:

The more costeffective army can win vs a more expensive (better unit) because they can just keep throwing them at the other player.

I don't think this requires a thread. The civ is complete *** in treaty, and its advantages and disadvantages could be summed up in less than 2 sentences.

    Advantages: Teepee boost.

Disadvantages: Easily stopped by an opponent who knows exactly how the civ works and its weaknesses.

If an opponent knew exactly  how the civ works and its weaknesses, he should be able to beat almost anyone with any civ.

So that shouldnt be listed as an advantage since if both players are equally skilled they know exactly how to kill eachother equally fast (if the game is balanced).

It isnt balanced so what LordStefan is saying is that Sioux is so bad that you can beat them any time if you are good.

That isnt a disadvantage though, its a result of the disadvantages they have (which is basically that their eco just sucks too hard).

sioux in deathmatch are amazing though. especially on great plains since their warchief is fast and can get comanche and cheyenne trading posts for all the cavarly upgrades. also i think a huge advantage for all gameplay is they don't need houses. that is awesome for deathmatch and supremacy.
