I've used this ability for about a year now, and in a 1v1 and 2v2 its fine, but as many people notice in laggy environments it causes the units to become useless as they will idle for a period of seconds before they attack something. This really only happens sometimes in 3v3's, and mainly affects melee units. So does anyone just micro their units onto their targets and ignore attack move altogether?

If a game would be so laggy that I can't even use attack move I would quit.

I play for fun and not for rank ;)

I use it w/ inf, goons, and art (not culvs or morts).  When i make hussars i dont, as i like to target them to a location or against specific unit b/c otherwise they are retarded and start attacking walls.

I swear my opponents intentionally make buildings to stop me using attack-move. If there are any buildings nearby attack-move doesn't work.

 It's very risky to use it over vast distances as it seems almost 50/50 whether the men will forget about the attack part and just do the move part.

As some have said, I only use attack-move with range units.... melee units I find are better to either move to a spot and let me pick or to specifically pick a target.  That being said, I'll use attack-move for melee units if I am selecting just a couple of them, but in mass it doesn't really work.

Maybe in supremacy, but in TR attack-move is mostly used for ranged units. Lag really affects melee units in TR in general, and attack move makes them twice as bad. However in a lag free situation its great for most units in TR.

just attack move everything u have and then spend your extra time doing extra micro for as far as possible imo

yeah i do this in the first volley since i have no time to drag skirms etc. so i go attack move then start hand micro. But it seems like attack move with proper unit position can get ppl to high ranks.
