    Subject: AI Handicap

    Hey there,

    I've been wondering, someone told me that the offline AI's have a handicap and actually do not really get better (I believe it was Jerom) Anyone know the exact rates of these handicaps for all difficulty levels?

    What Jerom says is true but I am unsure of the actual rates.

    can try to find it out by looking how much they gather at the start from the crates in the replay. 

    If they gather like 200 wood with only 100 wood of crates then they have a 100% handicap.

    I thought the handicap would be a speed boost rather than actually extra resources.  So a crate for example gathered in 8 seconds for most would be 4 seconds if you had 100% handicap on.

    Alright, just tested. Here's the percents:

    Sandbox: -70%
    Easy: -50%
    Moderate: -25%
    Hard: 0%
    Expert: 50%

    I played as an AI to do the tests and gathered a 500 wood crate. It was a pain when the AI kept trying to build a house in the middle of my test, I had to delete the house and send the vil back.
