    There has been some speculation about this for a couple of weeks now, and not only can I confirm that it's official, but we're live right now! Yep, as you may have guessed from the rumors:

      

    We are excited to announce that Age of Empires III: The Complete Collection is now available on Steam!

    For a limited time the game, get the game for 50% off.

    The Complete Collection includes the origional Age of Empires III, as well as the two expansions, The War Chiefs and The Asian Dynasties.  Play through all three unique campaigns, or battle it out with friends online or over LAN.

    We may see a rise in the in-game server population as well as the forums, so please be kind and help out any new users. Remember, we were all n00bs once!  (You can all fix your sigs now too)

    The CMS keeps eating my html on the homepage, working on it.

    Purchasing the game via steam will provide you with a new CD key.  Its reccomended to uninstall prior to installing via steam.

    I assume we'll be connecting to the ESO servers with eso accounts we'll just download the game and recieve the cd keys via steam

    Retail copies can't be activated in steam at this time.

    If you purchase on steam you will be able to create a new account once you install it via steam.  You will need to uninstall your current copy of the game.

    1, Uninstall Current Copy

    2, Buy/Download Via Steam

    3, Install AoE again and Download Patches and create new account on the new copy

    4, Validate new account on the expansion packs if needed

    5, Re login on old account/new account

    I'll try to be active on the AoE3 Steam forum, too. Hopefully some of that traffic there comes this way, too.

    Hey, Ryz0n, the Steam forums says my account is in the moderation queue and must be approved by the moderator. (I just made it.) You can't do that, can you? I wasn't sure if that's something for global steam moderators. (I'm also curious if you have mod power across all steam forums, or just the AoE3 one?)
