cannon - kills doppelsoldner

skirmisher - kills warwagon/doppel

Not everyone plays on Andes where you have instant spam units. The better players I've seen start queuing up units in anticipation of what their opponent is most likely going to make rather than just reacting to what they have. It's amazing to watch a really good player have a counter ready by the time his opponent's units get to the fight. These are the people who often end up with 2:1 or higher kill ratios, even in mirrors.

That's because these players would be vsing noobs.

You cannot just make units expecting what your opponents army is. In all my games, I make sure I know exactly what my opponent goes before 40 before I begin making my own army.

i dont want to have/start this argument, but, please, before you say tr isnt skillful just get to first lt or above, then you can say it involves no skill, im not saying anything else lol this argument is never ending

I find it hilarious that people are bashing the higher APM you need for andes.

you DO need to make artillery in advance ofcourse, and you have to guess what they are making.  though honestly guesing what the neemy makes isnt that hard.  people get in routines, and its frankly quite obvious what the opponent is making.  especially in 30-60 min games where you stand in practically the one spot and play exactly the same i.e. andes cliffs / orinocco mid.
