I'm looking for a micro trainer scenario for nilla. in that scenario it has rounds and in every round u get a bunch of units (cav, pike, heavy inf) and every round you get different units. can someone know what its the name of that scenario or where to dl it?

Knowing which units to focus on is micro...

 If you are a good player you would appreciate TTM.  Even if you do not think it is very practical it is still really fun to play.  

The biggest argument against it is that there is know way you can use the same precision/drag micro/control groups as you could in a real game because you also have your eco/macro to worry about.

the scen is a trick. Its knowing how to do each stage. a big part of micro is judging how you should approach a fight but thats just something you should know by heart when you play TTM 1 time honestly.

It just totally rules out any form of decision making in battles (which is probably the biggest factor by far) and the core micro training is absent because you are controlling very small amounts of units (which makes it ridiculously easy to control them).

Therefore TTM doesnt really train you in any important micro skill (maybe the cav to cav is cool though) 

It starts off with small battles so say you both get your first units out and must fight each other from the start.  Being able to win the initial battle could be crucial.

Then it gets more and more advanced.  Have you played the skirm goon cav one?  Many units are involved in that.

I think it is good because it tests you in a variety of situation plus it may prepare you for things you may not have known how to do properly before.

The core essence of micro is capitalizing on the differences between your and your opponents army.

Other than that it is your control which you can train (because obv the first and most important thing of micro isnt actually mattering here) by fighting battles, but personally I find the amount of units you are controlling here too small (especially if you take into account that there is no economy behind it), therefor I kinda disapprove of TTM.
