Lots of port players I've played age up really fast it seems.  Like they hit it before 2:30.  Is normal for port's to do this? how many vills would they be advancing with?

in almost all situation u either do colonial militia or save the card. some strats will have u do eco theory but since ports are weak to rush colonial milita with a 2nd tc can decimate a rush. one time i was up against a russian and he did some early aggression but i shipped colonial militia and it was funny cuz im pretty sure with 10 vills in the tc it 1 or 2 shotted musks and he was dumb cuz even though i had shipped colonial militia and i was ciouped up in my tc for the longest time i ran out his resources since he kept sending strelets at my tc to try to siege(and musks) but i eneded up winning that game since he was exhausted of res and ships lol oh AND he took out my tc wagon going in to the third age

I saw some port player a while ago do a pretty cool strat vs otto.

He had a 200 wood start, grabbed a TP didn't build any houses and then aged at 10/10 villies to, once he aged up, ship 700 coin and just continue like he was FF'ing. Pretty cool since then otto will think twice about upping his TP's and you'll get a pretty fast FF that can maybe even do damage to otto if they FF u (or at least take out the element of speed which is whats dangerous about the otto FF)....
