why does this happen? its happened to me two straight games once in a practice boom vs comp i didn't really care but the other one was 3v3 rush... very annoying

Assuming that your system is updated, scanned for malware, the game is patched and you are running it as an administrator and in compatibility mode:

Certain video cards may cause the game to crash if the anti-alias is set too high (or on at all) so you might try setting it off.

Other than that, most Microsoft and other tech sites suggest a re-install of the software or even a repair install of the OS if applications are prone to crashing.

Looks like there may be a problem with your video card's driver. Try uninstalling your NVIDIA video card's driver then installing the latest release. If this doesn't correct the problem then try installing an older driver than the one that is causing the problem. If you go to Start and type in "dxdiag" the display tab will give you information on your video card and its current driver.

hmmm. i know nothing about comptuers really :( does that mean i would have to buy a new card driver? . would it work if i uninstalled the steam version of the game and reinstalled my physical copy?  

Here is the NVIDIA site, use their automatic system to locate an updated driver for your video card.

Thanks Metis. I think its fixed it hasn't done it in sometime. Alright i have a totally weird question. my mouse goes all crazy in games sometimes. like it takes my screen to the top of the map and anytime im not moving it down it goes back there automatically. sometimes when i stomp it into the pad it works for a few seconds but goes back. its weird caus its only when im in a game like online or on ESO home it works fine.  its kind of a pain

thankfully the only time it has happened in a rated game was in a 2v2 treaty right after one of my opponents resigned so i made my ally finish mopping the floor. how do you usually fix it?

mine happened while walling and i walled across my tc lol......and usually i take of the batteries and put it back dnt know if thatz how you properly fix it tho :D

Most people with mouse issues in the game have resolved them by uninstalling and reinstalling their mouse drivers and/or video drivers. Also, the game seems to work better with the drivers alone versus complete software packs for mice and video cards.

I, myself, get a "fragmented" game cursor if install the complete Catalyst Control Center for my Radeon 6850 video card; the cursor is there but it looks like someone has taken a hammer to the arrowhead. However, the Radeon 6800 series driver that Windows installs works just fine with the game.
