I googled xml 4.0 and saw the link to the Microsoft website and clicked it , here I found 5 different downloads. I downloaded one of them the msxml4msms.exe just beacuse it has a 4 and a exe in the title i liked it the best, however after installing it made the promblem worst and now the game crashed when i start it. til dont install stuff you dont know about. So i was wondering it you could tell me which one i should download and such, thanks

Make sure you have updated windows. Ive seen this when you dont have xml 4.0 installed properly or updated.

If that is all set then id recommend using driver sweeper, then ccleaner. Reboot, install new video drivers.

I updated my graphics drivers but that had no effect :( is there anything else which can be done?

Try updating your graphics drivers.

When I start the game the whole screen is so blurry that I can't see anything , it's just a random blur of colour. I'm not sure what's wrong, i believe that the directX is the right one and I haven't changed any resolution setting either. so I'm a little baffled to what's wrong , please help.
