Age of Mythology: Bring it Back!!!!

I think that Age of mythology should be redone. The game was really fun, and for some reason, ensemble studios stoped with the series at the Gold Edition. I think that its time to add to the series of games: new cultures, myth creatures, campaigns, and maps. The cool thing about AOM was that it was really creative. In my opinion, the series should be brought back asap!

My favorite is either Mayans or Mongols both for their fast rushes and good economy.

My worst would be Goths even though they have a strong man-at-arms rush I hate their defense.

In mine AOE2 I have problem being the computer message me with some tom-foolery such as: "Forsooth the pig grunted too loudly, I will resign." I canna fix. How to stopping this CALAMITY??????/ I have it set to Deathmatch and Conquest setting so it should not giving up before I massacre every last fish-toting villager of they.

AOM ESO CD Key trouble

Hey,

I just picked up a new copy of AOM, with new CD's and everything. I couldn't log into ESO because it said that it couldn't validate my CD key. I uninstalled everything that I had pertaining to AOM on my computer from my previous CD set that a buddy ended up with, and then reinstalled everything onto my D drive. Same problem. Any ideas?

My new comp is ok with AOKings but with AoC always says : "You must have the original CD"....
.....I have the original one and I can play it on an old computer.

Did this happen to somebody ?
What can I do to play on my new comp ?
(only my new comp has internet)

I remember if you buy the original Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome not the gold pack, the CD have demo of other game. There was a game that allow you to control tank and helicopter using a grid map like, does anyone know the name of that game?

How I can saved the lvl the civilation when I play AOE

For example I choose Japan, I began with lvl 1 then when I play I lvl up right, but first I have my pc protected with deep freeze all my pc but no unit D, so when u install AOE, goes to directly to unit c my programs/microstf games right, ok I install but frist I shut down deep freeze to install AOE , ok I installed so I restart deep freeze, so I play AEO I got lvl 10, then I turn off my pc and the next day I turn on my pc I play AEO but I start in lvl 1 why, please I need help thx

I always wished that Nomad in age3 started like in age2. You start with no resources and just 3 villies.

In Land nomad you had to first build a lumber camp and then when you could choose to make a towncenter, or build homes, or build a barracks rush with militia men.

It was really fun, especially in FFA games, when you might be right next to another person. Villie fights were common and sometimes you would have to go on with just 1 or 2 villies left.

In age 3 you start with a wagon instead of villigers, which makes it way too easy.

AOE2 Toxic Waste on Vista 64 bit

So, I've run into this graphics problem where whenever I play AOE2, the coloring on the display gets really wacked out and my ships swim through purple seas and my villies walk on red grass (it's all neon, hence the "toxic waste" nickname)

It's really freaky. Anyways, I know that this is somewhat of a prevalent issue, seeing that it happens to other people. But the solutions I found online don't really give a definite way to fixing the problem

I've found things ranging from setting display color to 16 bit (which only works temporarily), to actually disabling my graphics card (wtf)

Does anyone know what to do?

I really like this game :D (btw I do have AOE3, don't ask why I'm still playing AOE2)

Hi i cant play online with my age of myhology gold. When i try ti connect to the net i get this message "To connect to ESO the deafult language in Internet Explorer must be set correctly. Please visit www.eso.com for more information(1)" And when i try to Dowload the newest patch it says that i have a problem with the game and that I must reinstal! Please help me

Of all the Age games there are (AOK, AOE, AOM) which is your absolute favorite, and why?

I would have to say mine is AOK, because of the genreal game play and units. Economy not dumbed down either.

And I have found that while there were many new innovation with age 3, many of the great features of age 2 were not carried over.

Such as the better worker AI, even though you cannot que orders, they automatically went to work with no micro. If you built a lumber mill they would go directly to work chopping wood.

The actions like "stop" had hotkeys which I have never figured out how to order in age3.

The trade was a cool thing as well smuggling is my favorite thing to do hhaha, sending trade cogs to enemy docks and getting away with 100 gold is priceless.

Anyways there are many things about 2 that sucked, especially the farm ques, but for the most part it was a better game then 3.

2 things that makes Age2 better then all of age 3

Shore fishing with villagers, and fish traps with fishing boats.

Why the hell where these 2 things not carried over to age3, in age 3 when you run out of fish, the only thing left are whales. Why can't fishing boats build fish farms?

And in age 3 there are fish jumping in the lakes but you can't use a villager to fish for them. Shore fishing in age 2 was epic.

Strange Alliances - Hard Difficulty

I realize this a relatively old topic and strategy based. But I breezed through every scenario in the main campaign on hard with no problem but Strange Alliances( the one where the british surprise attack you and take your Uncle Stewart) is just amazingly difficult. The growth rate for the british is insane and if you try an grow and zerg you will get zerged right back. I have tried multiple positions as well as numerous layered bastion upgraded wall defenses to stave off destruction all to no avail? Does anyone have a decent strat for this? (if you remember it :)
