from my own Opinion, I would have to say, Chinese would be my favored Civilization, I always enjoyed the surprising comment from my opponent (didn't matter if I was victorious, or defeated.) It was always fun to see people comment on "How the Hell did you produce so much Sentries and Irregular?" lol... Plus I like the ideal adrenaline rush for overpowering someone with a weaker army.

Second most favored would be Japan, The only downer from my perspective, was the stereotype of Japan. (When we say Japan, You say Samurai and NINJA'S!!!" *roll eyes* I was hoping to see Japan Imperial Age morph its Ashigaru into Meji Riflemen, you know a westernized Japanese Army. Though of course Samurai would still be viable, the Ashi final up would be a westernized rifle unit.

And last but not least... India... I can't keep up with the wood production... Its just something I always had a hard time managing, so India is out of favor for me... Though I do love their rush with Urmi Swordsman... By God... its brutal... As if Ronins weren't enough... these guys put the lid on Godly.

i'd say jap is the best civ to have in team games considering that the person is used to all 3 civs *especially in water maps*. mainly cos they are easier to use over the long run.....

their economy is not bad... their shrines act as partial factories (with teams, another player could create animals for the jap player). also, they can send cards twice (huge advantage when getting free units lyk villagers & fishing boats...)

their military is basic but good. their military is lyk the british except that they have weaker artillery... dojos... u get 2 of them & when upgraded, saves huge military costs.

the chinese are ok.... i'd say their best in the middle of the game... better in 2v2 i guess..... in the early part of the game, their units are weak unless massed.... i would say the chinese has the ability to spam units cost efficiently during mid game play...

indians... i dont really lyk to play as indians cos of their up units... especially their elephants... soo not worth the resources... if one concentrates their fire towards the elephant, it's practically dead... spamming elephants is not lyk spamming the gardames... they cost too much resources & pop that once ur army of elephants die, it's game over for you....

hell yeah! i use a similar strategy but i use it with more Crossbowmen than Pikemen

Also, their elephants arent exactly unbeatable, actually, msot of them are even UP talking in cost effectivness..

That a unit costs a lot doesnt means that taht unit is good.

no explanation needed.

japan is easy to start up with due to villie and resource cards that can be sent twice.
but as the game progresses they get a bit harder due to weak eco as compared to other civilizations.
great units, good mobility of units and the best wonders.

india is basically for pros, you gotta be really good with your eco management.
reliance on wood can be good or bad, depends on how you look at it, no villie shipments and no artillery.(except from consulate)

personally japan and india are my favourites.

i dont play china and any other lame civilizations anymore.

wow, you really have no idea what you're talking about... almost everything that you said is bullshit.

1. No, china is neither easy nor lame anymore, after patch they got a good enough nerf and their inf massing (which, however, still loses to most strong colonial civs) takes skill to perform optimally.

2. Japan are pretty lame, because of their very strong boom and late colonial eco (no, it's not weak my friend) and are easier and lamer the further the game progresses.

3. India is not for pros, actually not as hard as china because they can mostly play offensively while china has to play defensively in early colonial, which takes considerably more (micro) skill.

out of these 3, japan would be easiest to win with because they are both OP and easy to play (in other words: lame). india would come in second because of their fairly easy and very strong colonial rush, their offensive playstyle is like the otto one, which makes it an easier civ than it should be. china comes in third because standing against fast rushes with china is not something noobs would be able to do.

Well, I think that all of the three civs have their advantages.

The Indians would be my favourite out of the three, and Japanese would come in second. But, Chinese have never really appealed to me.

Indians have a very good rush, and Ditto with the Japs. But, the Japs can just out-eco with their Shrines.

Overall, the best civ out of the 3, would depend on the player playing them.

I think he meant to say cdbs have more hp and gather quicker.
