and cuirs while they will not beat tartars entirely will hold theyre own and put alot of them away
so im saying as an all purpous unit, cuirs are good and with a few skirms.
French eco late game (at least in nilla) will be better than russias coureurs gather around 25% percent more than a regualr villi so that puts 80 coureurs at around 100 regualr villis while saving 20 pop and how ever much less mills and plantaions needed.
a few skirms to deal with any amount of cav archers while still engaging them with cuirs
cuirs with trample on are without a doubt going to beat any Russian infantry

ur prob is ur assuming that the russian is gonna use exactly what u think

when u meet a russian player uses russia in a unexpected way ull be pwned.

and half the key to russia is not fighting on one front

Um... If you know what your doing, you have halbs in front musks and tartars in back.. Thats what I always do, and it never hurts my eco at all. With some cannon in back, skirms dont do a whole lot.

Russian musks can probably beat them cost effectively, for one. Tartars will decimate cuirs entirely. Cuir spamming is a terrible strat. Most people realize how dense it is once they break mserg.

Also, France>russia, but not in the way that dj suggested. France is the strongest treaty civ, no question there.

if u use all ur units and counter russia is devasting

it is true for all civs-

but at lower ranks u like to cry "OP!!!" cuz u dont know how to play.

i have beaten 2 french players who are currently 1st lt. 1v1 with russia.

they are very good players.

ur options arent limited if u use all ur units.

i was implying that i was new in the forums i have around 510 games i beleive

and as soon as you through some voltigers behind the cuirs tartars will go down quick and with the area effect of the cuir hits take down halbs quick especialy with skirms there. im saying 20 cuirs and maybe 30 skims and maybe a cannon

im a noob member (2nd lt) and i have seen higher ranks use russia amazingly well and **** with it.

when boomed right 2.1k is very probable, wood isnt usually a prob and there military when used right is excellent.

Yes forgot about it. I just found it hard to keep producing Gendarmes becouse of their high cost if all Russians will be producing is anti-cavalry units.
