I don't believe that I do, at least not a good one. I've become better at cowing now that I've played Brits in quite a few online games so I should now be able to boom fairly well with China. Let me try an online boom and get back to you.

The best boom with Japan requires a British teammate for three reasons. One is cows, which gather better than sheep. The second is team gathering, which affect shrines. The third is team distillery, which gives you a 15% gold boost from paddies.

If you are alone then you have to rely on hunts, which gather at a low rate. The best maps for single-player land Japan treaty are Texas, Mongolia, and Deccan as you can catch cows. Deccan also has a goat shipment that you can get.

In an Andes test boom with few hunts at which to place shrines I got 1700:

A good starting army is several horse archers (they are essentially fast-moving, short-range culverins), a few flaming arrows, and a bunch of musketeers.

Just about everything Japan has except two foot archer units owns cavalry.

dont matter, keep dutch or spain for the gold trick or the XP trick.
i think when i used my old boom i used to use the XP card, so having spain was useless for me
either way is good

i saw a post from storm where stood sth about get dutch to last 7 mins, but why?

i only get them till i got the bank, arsenal and church. then i fast get spain to get more cards before treaty ends. and i never get shrines on xp card . with my strat i can get around 1.9k score

they got only x9 with the speacial card. normally its x8

but i like to play them without cards. they do wall against art and cav and goons too cause of 50% ranged resistance

It's 9 with a ROF of 1.5, making it effectively 18 compared to the other units
