I have noticed, however, when playing the germans that the cards that are supposed to change the extra units shipped (i.e. uhlans to winged hussars, uhlans to landsknechts, uhlans to hessian jaegers) don't actually work. They'll ship the mercs, but I'll still only get uhlans for the rest of the game. Is this a common issue? Is there a fix? It's not a huge issue really, but I DO enjoy playing the germans and it'd be nice if I could incorporate those units instead of just uhlans over and over. Any help would be appreciated ^_^ &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Oh and I am playing the asian dynasties expansion for this, though I have the native expansion installed too. I got up to the Fushimi mission, things seemed to go well, until I had to escort villagers down the eastern road. I got twelve villagers out, a few kind of just stopped, I'm assuming because of pathfinding issues. I figured I'll just get the next villagers spawned out.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And those next villagers never spawned. The game just stopped spawning villagers. There's no way to beat the mission. I really don't want to play through all that again, especially if I have no idea whether I will run into this bug again.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any suggestions? This is the first and only patch that addresses important issues such as Water Combat, making European ships much stronger and better offshore support, while making the Native American canoes cheaper and faster training (to reflect their now greatly inferior state). Lategame issues have been adressed for all civs, and the European Church cards have been moderately improved, each European civ now receiving an extra upgrade, plus the current upgrades, if underpowered, have been properly boosted so that they can be used competitively in regular gameplay. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Also, all dumb lategame changes in FP 1.2 are reverted to their original states: including War Wagons, Cuirassiers, Lancers, Halberdiers and Jaguar Prowl Knights losing their Colonial Statistics.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Outposts now are cheaper and faster building, plus give a small trickle of resources, but have a lower build limit that increases back to normal upon hitting Fortress Age.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Musketeer, grenadier and ranged infantry combat have been addressed: Musketeers do less damage at range, but maintain the same againt Cavalry; from Industrial onwards, most most Musketeer units do their original damage against Hand Infantry as they did before; Grenadiers are cheaper, faster moving, have more range and much better hand attack. Counter Infantry Rifling is nerfed slightly, but also gives skirmisher units more damage against Light Cavalry. Light Hand Cavalry are cheaper, faster training and faster, while ranged cavalry generally do more hand attack. Heavy artillery are addressed and balanced, and do much less damage against ships. Ironclads are now also superwarships. Plus, techs like "Mass Cavalry" (at the church, reduced cavalry train points) have been returned to normal, but made cheaper. Natives like the Incans have also been more balanced. &lt;P&gt;I have been trying to send an email for the pass 3 months or since RE has been annouced.&amp;nbsp; I find it very annoying that I can't even get a reply from a company that provides support.&amp;nbsp; I also find it very hard to even ask Microsoft themself from the contact list to get help as they tell me to contact you guys when I can't.&amp;nbsp; So I am wondering whats going on and if you guys can at least make sure your email system is working fine and also get an auto reply so that it helps us know that are email got though.&lt;/P&gt;

I have recently been exposed to a very nasty trick of the europeans.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have beeen cornered while being WAAAAAY too strong to take head on... and so one of my enemys revolted and surrounded me with forts. I couldn't bust out of the blockade, but then realized I HAD to or else lose my ally, and soon after lose my own village.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, playing as the dutch, I came up with this ingenius plan: I sent in ja buncha carbiners and hussars, with mamelukes, stradiots, and hackapells, to draw the fire of the forts... and then I blew them up with petards. It was a &lt;i&gt;very&lt;/i&gt; effective way of busting out and being able to put a village within my allys city limits... very soon after I busted out my adversarys normally woulda attacked my ally, but they were defending the forts. I also killed the fort support, so they couldn't just retreat to a powerful area. My cavelry overcame them. They had no army to beat &lt;u&gt;me&lt;/u&gt; up.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With the Sioux Dog soldiers and War Club spam with seige&amp;nbsp;dance will kill most buildings faster then you can say bob's your uncle. Thanks, &lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Neverseperat&lt;/font&gt;, for&amp;nbsp;that.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The iriquois can break out nearly as easily as the europeans. Just use mantlets to draw the fire and use rams to defeat&amp;nbsp;the forts. If you can fit in, say, musket riders and tomohawks (iriquois muskets), more power to ya. I might want to put in some light cannon if I were you, just in case they wisen up and target the rams.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Aztecs may seem as hopeless as the souix, but remember the arrow knights, notice they got runners as cavelry, use the eagle runners {and} the coyote runners to draw the fire and use puma spearmen, jag knights, macehaultins and puma spearmen to protect the arrow knights, and you suddenly realize their not so bad off, in fact are almost&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;better&lt;/b&gt; off then the europeans.&lt;/p&gt;

If I was to sever relations with the Russians and choose the German allies instead will my Factory still generate resources and will my Fort still attack?
