    Is anybody else getting this message or has gotten this message while trying to install Age of Empires III?

    It's very frustrating, any suggestions?

    Have do not recall seeing anyone else report that specific error message when trying to install. I assume the D drive is your cd/dvd drive; correct?

    You might try manually copying the contents of the disks to a temp folder on your hard drive. I suggest creating one called Age3install and copy the files into it. Then try running the setup.exe located in that folder.

    I have been recommended to a site that says the cause of the error is due to old programs or files that have been improperly edited or removed and fixes them. I am still completing the scan, and will inform you on the results, so that if this problem arises again, you can give them this tip. Also, I attempted to copy the ifles to a temp folder but could not cop one of the major components (forgot the exact name but I will check) and it would not launch. I also just purchased Tiger Woods 2007 and it successfully installed and works great.

    instead of d its e and when i click install i just says E:\\setup.exe is not a valid win32 application and i dont know waht to do it worked before but now it dosent plz help me thx
